VIP Safari Tour

The VIP Safari Tour is a journey through Auto Safari Chapín to the sleeping quarters and enclosures of the animals. These areas are closed to the general public.

Most of the tours are conducted on foot and by tractor, guided by safari staff. You’ll have the opportunity to physically interact with different animal species, feed them, and in most cases, hold them.

Unique experience

It’s a unique experience from which you can take home wonderful memories and photographs. If you’re lucky, you may interact with baby felines that will make your visit even more enjoyable. The tour lasts approximately 4 hours.

At the end of your tour, you can take the car route, enjoy a boat ride on the lagoon, visit the zoo, and use the pool and restaurant. Additionally, there are stations where you can purchase Auto Safari Chapín merchandise.

How to make a reservation?

  1. Let us know the dates you’d like to visit and we’ll gladly check availability.
  2. To make your reservation, you need to complete your payment via deposit, transfer, or Visa Link payment.
  3. We offer up to 12 Visa installments + a 3% surcharge.

Which species

will I see?

Tapirs

You'll visit our tapir reserve, where you can see over 35 tapir specimens—the largest reserve of its kind in existence today.

Deer, Barbary sheep, and African goats

To reach the reserve, you'll ride on a tractor cart and take an incredible journey to the reserve. Once there, you'll have the opportunity to feed the deer, waterbucks, and African goats.

Giraffe Dock

You will meet Sorpresa and Rafiki. If you wish, you'll have the opportunity to feed them with plant materials for a cost of Q10.00. Mother and son will give you the chance to take some lovely photos.

Capuchin monkey, snakes, and iguanas

Before reaching the Sorpresa and Rafiki dock, you'll have the opportunity to interact with playful capuchin monkeys, iguanas, and snakes. It will be a unique experience.

Albino python

Don't be scared—interact with the albino python that's over two meters long.

Baby felines

If you're lucky during your visit, you may interact with the safari's baby felines. You'll be able to hold and pet them.

Macaws and parrots

At the end of your tour, you can hold the green and red macaws.
